Recognizing this construction is the first step, as proper repair demands methods that restore structural integrity without compromising the fire label or the door’s flat, rigid surface. Unlike wood, these doors require techniques such as welding, panel replacement, and specialized automotive-style filler to achieve a lasting fix.
